Even though it may feel difficult to let other people drive your BMW, the driver profile makes things a little easier to handle the restlessness. Driver profiles on BMW vehicles allow you to save and use individual settings in the vehicle that are tailored to your specific driving preferences. For example, your power-adjustable seats, mirror positions, air conditioning, and favourite radio stations are all saved in one driver profile. Part of the ConnectedDrive system, driver profiles are perfect for saving time from spending several minutes to fix your seats and mirrors after someone—especially of drastically different height—drove it before you. Never will you have to suffer from claustrophobic knees or a dashboard horizon.
What separates adaptive headlights from normal headlights are its ability to curve the light beams into any direction you’re steering towards so you get better visibility and safety in the nighttime. The adaptive headlights use sensors to measure speed, steering, angle, and the degree of rotation around the vertical axis to determine whether the lights should point left or right. They only stay on when the vehicle is pulling away so they don’t distract other drivers while the car is in reverse or parked stationary. Overall, they’re very useful for those who find their field of vision difficult while turning corners. That way you can make those corners with more confidence.
BMW Head-Up Display

Using a system of mirrors and projectors inside the front console of your BMW, the Head-Up Display almost everything onto your windshield, from speed, navigation directions, rpm, lane guiding, and more depending on the BMW model you purchased. Additionally, you can download the BMW Head-Up Screen app for Android or iOS to adjust the settings on your Head-Up display as well so the information better suits what you actually want displaying. With the BMW Head-up Display, all you have to do is focus on the road and nothing more.

Another great convenience feature, all you have to do is walk up to your BMW to access most things with the Comfort Access System. With remote sensors, the system will detect your BMW keys within proximity and all you have to do is touch the door handle and it’ll unlock. Even if your keys are in your jacket, pocket, or bag, the Comfort Access System will detect it. The technology also works with the tailgate for contactless opening by sensing the movement of your feet to unlock the trunk of your BMW. The days of fiddling around your person for your keys are over because all you have to do is walk up to your BMW and unlock it. It’s a winning combination of technology, security, and just straight up convenience.
