The BMW Series 3 lineup has four models available, with three options for the engine. The entry-level engine has 295 lb-ft of torque and 255 horsepower. In contrast, the 3.0-litre turbocharged engine delivers 369 lb-ft of torque and 382 horsepower. The hybrid option offers 310 lb-ft of torque capacity and 288 horsepower.

 

The Lexus ES 350 sits somewhere in between, with its 3.5-litre V6 engine delivering 302 horsepower. There’s no information about torque capacity, but it has an eight-speed automatic transmission, just like BMW models. The ES 350 is the mid-tier model in Lexus’ 2024 ES lineup. The flagship model has a hybrid powertrain, similar to the BMW 3 series. However, the ES 350 runs on gasoline only.

The Lexus ES 350 has front and rear airbags, a blindspot monitor, a backup camera, and an Intuitive Parking Assist as standard. The Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 includes even more safety features, like lane departure warning, lane tracing assist, and a pre-collision system. It has a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, SiriusXM satellite radio, Lexus Interface, Service Connect, Remote Connect, and Drive Connect.
