How to Delete a Home Address From BMW Navigation
BMW Navigation system stores previous destination addresses so they can be easily accessed when needed for return trips. You can view and delete an address with a few simple steps.
Steps on How to Remove Address From BMW Navigation
To delete a previous destination address from the system's hard drive, on the screen, go to the navigation menu and select Last Destination, highlight the address you wish to delete and push the options button on the iDrive controller scroll.
A list will pop up, giving you the options to edit destination, store as a new contract, add to the existing contract and delete entry. Select the delete entry, and the address will no longer be saved on the vehicle's hard drive and will not appear as a previous destination.
iDRIVE TOUCH CONTROLLER
With the iDrive Touch Controller, you can control your BMW's iDrive system with just one hand. You can, for example, enter destinations for the navigation system in your handwriting using the touchpad included in the controller. You can also scroll through lists and bring up and adjust a variety of functions. The operation is intuitive and straightforward, relying on your sense of touch to operate.
Because it only requires a small amount of your attention, this significantly reduces the burden on you, the driver, to focus on the road. The Control Display helps you to follow all the functions that the controller manages.
