Lane Change Warning
BMW's suite of technologies features so many great options. One such feature keeps an extra eye on what's going on around you. Suppose another vehicle decides to approach at a high speed from behind or is hanging around in your blind spot. In that case, the Lane Change Warning system helps understand the situation and implement the correct course of action.
If there is a vehicle in the lane beside you, the radar sensors on your BMW will pick up the object and warn you by an illuminated symbol on the exterior mirror. If you still choose to switch lanes by initiating the indicator, the illuminated symbol will flash, and your steering wheel will vibrate. This system works closely with Lane Departure Warning to keep you from getting into an unfortunate accident.
