2022 BMW 2 Series Performance
The 2022 2 Series will truly inspire and excite you, just as the ones in the past have done. This is why the 2 Series is offered with an array of engines and transmission options, and new for 2022 is the introduction of the four-door Gran Coupe. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder producing 248 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. If this is not enough buyers have the option to upgrade to four more engine options taking them up to a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder with 405 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Standard all-wheel drive will help keep all this power planted on the road. Transmission choices are nearly as plentiful as the engines; they're mated with a standard eight-speed automatic, available six-speed manual, and available seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
2022 BMW 2 Series Interior
The interior of the 2 Series is definitely one of its most appealing attributes. No corners have been cut when it comes to quality, the appearance of materials, and the overall cabin space. The 2 Series Gran Coupe has the largest trunk in the model's lineup, which rivals and beats most luxury small cars. The cabin is well designed, with comfortable front buckets with adequate room for front-seat passengers. High-end materials, such as Dakota leather while aluminum and woodgrain trim adorn the cabin of the 2 Series. The front has a very clean look with nice vertical gloss black and chrome trims. The front facia's body lines extend to the hood and eventually fade away as you get towards the windshield, giving it that moving fast, standing still feel. Wheel options, being unique in their own styles, range from 18-inch all the way to 19-inch on the Gran Coupe. A high beltline, fade-sided body lines with chrome trimmings, LED rear lights and dual chrome exhaust tips round out the 2 Series by giving it that luxury look and feel. With offerings such as; convertible, 2-door coupe, and 4-door Gran Coupe, buyers have many body styles to choose from.

Both vehicles boast beautiful exterior designs, however the 2 Series is just too far ahead. On the inside the G70 definitely tries its best to match up with the BMW, however the Grand Coupe's long history of luxury, refinement and convenience features give it the upper hand. When you compare driving dynamics, the BMW is three steps ahead. Automotive journalists have praised its handling, stability, and sheer fun behind the wheel. Unfortunately, the Genesis can't keep up.
