BMW i3

The BMW i3 features a design language that is out of this world. As an electric vehicle, it also offers a one-speed direct-drive transmission and enough power to propel this exciting vehicle to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds. It features a 42.2 kWh battery pack that has a range of up to 245 km. The i3 also offers an optional gasoline-fueled range-extending generator; it allows the vehicle to drive further in case you need it.

BMW i8

The blend of combustion engine and electric powertrain are becoming more common in sports cars. Since electricity offers a unique enchantment with instant torque, it is a perfect partner. The BMW i8 mates a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder internal combustion engine with an efficient 11.6-kWh battery pack and two electric motors. This combination of power produces 369 horsepower and delivers it to all four wheels. A roadster tested a 0-100 km/h time in just 4.1 seconds.
