BMW Lease Maturity

Lease Maturity Call
As your lease comes to an end, you can expect a phone call from your BMW retailers anywhere between 120-180 days. At this time, you will have the opportunity to ask for a pre-inspection and let your BMW retailer know if you plan to keep your BMW or return and get behind the wheel of a new one.
Inspection Call
Approximately 75 days before your BMW is due back, you should receive a call from AutoVIN Canada. AutoVIN is an independent inspection company hired by BMW to inspect your vehicle at your home or office. They will make sure to set up an appointment that best works with your schedule; keep in mind this inspection is mandatory.
Vehicle Inspection
AutoVIN will take the time to inspect your vehicle and evaluate its condition. AutoVIN will then upload the inspection report within 48 hours. At this time, you will have a chance to go over the report and find out what exactly was noted and things that may need your attention. If your BMW does require any repair or maintenance, it is highly recommended you have the work completed before you turn it in; this is to avoid any additional charges.
Returning Your Vehicle
As your lease return day fast approaches, set up an appointment with an Authorized BMW Retailer before or on the lease maturity date. The retailer will have the opportunity to confirm the vehicle's condition and make sure all necessary accessories are included, like both sets of keys, owner's manual, matching BMW approved non-winter tires and rims, BMW approved windshield with BMW logo displayed on the glass and a copy of original ownership.
