The cabin is well designed, with comfortable front buckets with adequate room for front-seat passengers. The 2 Series, as with all BMW's, comes with the legendary and even more aggressive kidney-shaped front grilles, which give it that distinguished look and feel of luxury. The front has a very clean look with nice vertical gloss black and chrome trims. The front facia's body lines extend to the hood and eventually fade away as you get towards the windshield, giving it that moving fast, standing still feel. Wheel options, being unique in their own styles, range from 18-inch all the way to 19-inch on the Gran Coupe. A high beltline, fade-sided body lines with chrome trimmings, LED rear lights and dual chrome exhaust tips round out the 2 Series by giving it that luxury look and feel. With offerings such as; convertible, 2-door coupe and 4-door Gran Coupe, buyers have many body styles to choose from.
2021 BMW 2 Series Performance and Efficiency
The 2 Series has been an exciting vehicle that can truly wear the BMW badge, which stands for luxury, technology and driving performance. The 2021 2 Series will truly inspire and excite you, just as the ones in the past have done. This is why the 2 Series is offered with an array of engines and transmission options, and new for 2021 is the introduction of the four-door Gran Coupe. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder producing 248 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. If this is not enough buyers have the option to upgrade to four more engine options taking them all the way up to a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder with 405 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Standard all-wheel drive will help keep all this power planted on the road. Transmission choices are nearly as plentiful as the engines; they're mated with a standard eight-speed automatic, available six-speed manual, and available seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. One thing is certain that the power of choice is definitely available on the 2 Series. With all this power, one would question the efficiency of the 2 Series, but that will come as a welcomed surprise. Natural Resources Canada Fuel Economy numbers are rated at 7.4L/100km highway and 9.5L/100km City respectively. Real-world testing by renowned journalists dropped that rating down even further to 6.7L/100km during their highway testing scenarios, making it one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its class.
2021 BMW 2 Series Safety and Drive Assisted Technologies
As with all BMW vehicles, it's no surprise that the 2 Series comes with an array of very functional driver-assisted technologies and safety features for that additional peace of mind.
